I can never know what it is like to live as a black person. To know that some of my dear friends have to endure discrimination because of the colour of their skin ... still ... today ... at all ... this is not ok. It has never been ok. It will never be ok.
I can and will listen and learn.
I can add my voice to theirs in what little way I can and say Black Lives Matter.
I can bring this to The One who knows what it is like and isn’t silent.
This painting is titled ‘Liberty’ and it is what we need to give to our black brothers and sisters.
